Mr. Renard H. Marable has extensive leadership and managerial experience after having completed a successful career as an Army officer. He held a wide variety of command and staff positions including serving as a Battalion Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division, as the Executive Assistant on the Army staff for the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, the Pentagon and as the City Manager for Fort Lewis, WA. He retired as a Colonel in 1998, and began work in the private sector.
In May 1999 he became the founding President and CEO of the Parren J. Mitchell Foundation for Education and Talent Development, Inc. He subsequently started his own management consulting firm in November 2000, Premier Consultants International, Inc.
Mr. Marable has an MS Degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Washington, DC; MS Degree in Public Administration, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO; and a BS Degree in Political Science, Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC. Mr. Marable has also attended the Darden Minority Business Executive Program at the University of Virginia.
